Bill Jann, M.D., a member of Pediatric Emergency Medicine Associates, affiliated with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, joined the Prevent Blindness Georgia Board of Directors in 2008, where he serves on the Children’s Program Committee. Prior to joining Pediatric Emergency Medicine Associates, Dr. Jann was in private practice with Children’s Medical Group, PC for 26 years, and served as the group’s President for 15 years.
Dr. Jann earned his BS degree from Georgia Tech and graduated from the University of Alabama Medical School where he completed his residency in pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Southern Medical Association, and the Greater Atlanta Pediatric Society where he served as President for six years. In addition, he was a founding member of the Kids Health First Pediatric Alliance.
