Bosma Enterprises—Nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the blind and visually impaired in their pursuit of gainful employment.
Emergent Leadership Institute—Nonprofit service organization that promotes vision screening certification and event opportunities to Indianapolis area teens and college students.
Hilltop Community Health Center—Nonprofit clinic dedicated to helping Northwest Indiana residents receive primary care services, regardless of ability to pay.
In-Kind Doctors & Opticians—Donate exams and eyewear for qualifying students and adults under our Sight for Students and Gift of Vision programs.
Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology—Medical Doctors (M.D.) and Doctors of Osteopathy (D.O.) who promote comprehensive vision, medical and surgical eye care, as well as the prevention of eye disease and injury.
Indiana Association of School Principals—Advocates for and supports the vision component in their students' education and health.
Indiana Minority Health Coalition—Develops initiatives to address the health disparities of ethnic and racial minority populations, including vision care for at-risk populations.
Indiana Optometric Association— Indiana optometrists who work to preserve the sight of all Hoosiers, through work, volunteerism and/or charitable donations.
Indianapolis Senior Center—Provides services for Marion County adults 55 and older, including recreational activities, educational programs and volunteer activities to help keep seniors active and independent.
Indiana State Department of Health—Partnering with PBI to deliver educational materials to all counties in Indiana and support data gathering through annual statewide telephone survey.
Indy Reads—Promotes and teaches adult literacy for individuals 18 and older; staff is trained to provide vision screenings to ensure clients can see to read when entering the program.
Knights Templar—Through their Eye Foundation, they offer financial assistance with eye surgeries for qualifying individuals; to date, more than 44,000 have benefited nationwide.
Learning Well—Nurses trained as certified screeners to work with PBI volunteers to provide vision-screening services and follow-up care for 18 Indianapolis public and township schools where Learning Well nurses are located.
Lions Clubs—Provide vision-screening services to area schools and contribute monetary assistance for eyewear not covered by our in-kind doctor network.
Marion County Department of Health—MCHD Nurses are trained to screen students and work with school nurses to obtain referral and follow-up care information; department’s Diabetes Prevention and Control Program will help provide vision screening education.
Northwest Indiana Community Action Corporation—Nonprofit that provides assistance to low-income, disabled and elderly families in Northwest Indiana.
Office of Women's Health—Improves health status of women in Indiana across the life span through assessment of health needs, increased public awareness and education and coordinated development of women's health programming. One such program is the Diabetes Patient Navigators, a service of which is vision care in three pilot counties through PBI's in-kind doctor network.
Price Vision Group—Donates up to 20 eye surgeries per year for qualifying individuals statewide.
Project Health—Provides eye surgeries and comprehensive health care to our uninsured Marion County residents between 200 to 300 percent of poverty level.
RSVP—Provides vision screenings and locates follow-up services for students in Northwest and Southeast Indiana.
St. Vincent Simon Primary Care Center—Partnering with PBI to provide regularly scheduled vision screenings, professional exams and follow up services to children and adults.
