VISION TRACKER
To ensure every individual receives the timely vision help he or she needs, PBI implemented the Vision Tracker outcomes management system to follow up on our screening referrals in 2008.
Vision Tracker allows for the collection of measurable data which can then be analyzed and will be useful in further emphasizing the importance of vision screenings for children and teens.
This information will help us determine:

Whether vision care is actually being sought as the result of a vision screening referral.

The outcome of any vision care received as a result of a referral. If care has not been sought, the goal is to determine the reason.

The barriers that prevent individuals from receiving further care.
PBI will continue helping to overcome financial hurdles by using its resources to provide follow-up treatment for the low-income and underinsured families who otherwise would not be able to afford eye care.
