Prevent Blindness Kentucky held its first annual golf scramble at Lake Forest Country Club on Monday, July 27, 2009. The golfers started off registration by picking out their own style of Sundog Sunglasses, enjoyed a lunch buffet and previewed the silent auction items before hitting the course.
Generous support from our sponsors and players raised $6,400 for Prevent Blindness Kentucky’s programs and services to prevent blindness and preserve sight.

Prevent Blindness Kentucky honored president and CEO of Louisville-based Texas Roadhouse restaurants, GJ Hart, as the 2009 Person of Vision on February 16, 2009, at a Texas-size roast and live auction held at the Frazier International History Museum.

More than 275 business colleagues and friends attended the Person of Vision benefit and raised $63,000 to support sight-saving educational programs and vision screenir children and high-risk adults in Louisville and across Kentucky.
