This Holiday Season, Give the Gift of Sight!!!

DID YOU KNOW a donation to Prevent Blindness Nebraska helps a preschool child obtain a vision screening; or a group of adults the opportunity to learn about the aging eye; or adults or children without a source of care obtain a routine eye exam or glasses? Your generosity through a simple online donation helps people in need see a brighter future.  Please take a moment to change someone's life!

Of all the senses, sight must be the most delightful!  Helen Keller

About Prevent Blindness Nebraska:

Prevent Blindness Nebraska is a non-profit organization whose goal is the prevention of needless blindness through proactive programs of children’s and adult vision screening, public and professional education, and volunteer training for national Vision Screener certification.

Our goals include reaching at risk Nebraskans with one-on-one vision screening and educational assistance as well as preventing those tragic cases where vision loss occurs unnecessarily because of accidents or lack of accurate information about eye health and disease.

Prevent Blindness Nebraska was founded in 1970 and is governed by a local volunteer Board of Directors.  Our premise is that half of all blindness can be prevented. Prevent Blindness Nebraska is a proud member agency of Community Health Charities Nebraska.

ur vision is that all Nebraskan's enjoy a lifetime of good vision.

Prevent Blindness Nebraska is using the O!

Omaha's O! campaign has caught fire in the city.  Prevent Blindness Nebraska is also participating, with a recently designed O! of its own.  The O! campaign was created in 2003 to be a tool Omahans could use to become more actively involved in promoting this vibrant, dynamic city.  It's hard to miss what many refer to as the, "O!plosion" taking place around town with countless examples of creative O! usage and marketing campaigns.
