Volunteering at Prevent Blindness Nebraska

“You are not here merely to make a living.
You are here in order to enable the world
to live more amply, with greater vision,
with a finer spirit of hope and achievement.
You are here to enrich the world, and you
impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.”
—Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924), 28th U.S. President

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any nonprofit organization, and this is true as well for Prevent Blindness Nebraska. From assistance in the office answering phones, assembling volunteer kits, making copies and data entry, to serving as a Certified Screener for our Children's and Adult programs in daycares, preschools, retirement communities and locations around town, the time you contribute is invaluable.
