Lexus Swing for Sight Golf Classic Raises $5,000 to Prevent Blindness

Nashville— The 25th Annual Swing for Sight Golf Classic presented by Prevent Blindness Tennessee (PBT) with support from Lexus of Nashville North raised $5,000 in the effort to prevent blindness and preserve sight.  More than 80 golfers and friends joined together for the event to increase awareness of eye health, and to raise funds to support programs that provide vision health services to uninsured Tennesseans.

“In 2007, Prevent Blindness Tennessee reached more than 150,000 individuals in at-risk communities across the state through programs that provide vision screenings, eyeglasses, and eye health education,” said Jennifer Gamble, PBT President and CEO. “We value the support of Lexus of Nashville and all the Swing for Sight participants who help make these vital resources available for people when they need them most.”
