Prevent Blindness Texas is a non-profit, voluntary health and human service agency focused on preventing blindness; preserving sight; and enhancing and extending the quality of vision life for all Texans.
As the largest state affiliate of Prevent Blindness America, we strive to serve Texans by the delivery of services through our network of branch offices and volunteers. We provide our clients and their families free vision screenings, eye examination referrals, eyeglasses and education to enable them to live as full and normal a quality vision life as possible.
Our 11 branches reach out across Texas to educate, screen, and treat people of all ages in order to help prevent loss of sight. Our vital work and success is made possible by our staff and our current and future VOLUNTEERS like you!
