Pediatric Advisory Committee
The charge of Prevent Blindness America's Pediatric Advisory Committee is as follows:

To advise the PBA board of directors and staff on matters relating to pediatric eye disease, including:

  • How PBA should undertake the fight against vision loss from pediatric eye disease
  • Expanding the existing base of knowledge about services for patients
  • Guiding PBA’s efforts to increase public and professional awareness of pediatric eye disease and the potentially beneficial outcome of early medical treatment
  • Guiding PBA’s efforts to inform the public about emerging research on pediatric eye disease
