Congratulations to Our Most Beautiful Eyes Contest State Winners!
UPDATE: Prevent Blindness America Announces Most Beautiful Eyes Contest Semi-Finalists.
Each of our state winners will receive a free pair of Eagle Eyes Optics Astro and Rocketeer Sunglasses for kids plus a Kids’ Fisher® Space Pen.
The state winners now advance to the next round of judging! Our celebrity judges, (former broadcaster Larry King, Derrek Lee of the Pittsburgh Pirates and NASA astronaut Walter Cunningham), will choose a first, second and third prize winner.
The national winner of the Most Beautiful Eyes Contest will receive a $25,000 college scholarship and for one year, will be the face of the “Star Pupils” program, the national children’s eye health and safety program from Prevent Blindness America. The second prize winner will receive a $4,000 scholarship, with a $2,000 scholarship for the third place winner. The three finalists and their families will enjoy a trip to Chicago to attend the Prevent Blindness America Annual Awards Banquet on Friday, November 18, 2011, where the overall winner will be announced.
