Prevent Blindness America to Host Illinois Swing Fore Sight Golf Outing
-September Event Held to Raise Funds for Non-profit Group -
CHICAGO (Aug. 29, 2013) – Chicago-based Prevent Blindness America will host its Swing Fore Sight Golf Outing on Sept. 23, 2013, at the Inverness Golf Club in Inverness, Ill. All proceeds from the event will go to support Prevent Blindness America and its programs.
The tournament is a scramble format with a 1 p.m. shot gun start. Foursomes are available for $2,200, and $600 for individual golfers. The day’s event includes lunch and dinner at the course as well as various contest holes, highlighted by the chance to win a car at a Hole-in-One hole, courtesy of Feeny Auto Group.
In addition, participants may enter to win a variety of raffle prizes including gift cards, a two-night stay at the Conrad Hilton, located in downtown Chicago, a foursome with lunch at the private Inverness Golf Club, and autographed 2012-2013 Chicago Blackhawks memorabilia. A silent auction will also be held including a chance to bid on a set of golf irons and a team-autographed hockey stick from the Stanley Cup Champions Chicago Blackhawks.
