Lancaster, TX/Lancaster ISD--Prevent Blindness Texas and Lancaster ISD have partnered to create a comprehensive program to address students’ and parents’ eye health issues in our district. Prevent Blindness Texas is the state’s leading volunteer eye health and safety organization dedicated to fighting blindness and saving sight. Prevent Blindness Texas touches the lives of thousands of people each year through public and professional education, advocacy, community and patient service programs and research.
The Lancaster Public Schools serve more than 6,000 pre-kindergarten through grade 12 students in 11 schools.
