New Uveitis Research Study

Investigational Medicine, LX211 (voclosporin), for Noninfectious Uveitis

Noninfectious uveitis is an autoimmune disease that causes re-occurring inflammation of the eye. Symptoms may include vision loss, redness of the eye, blurred vision, and ocular pain. Uveitis is one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide.

The LX211-11 research study is evaluating the use of LX211, an investigational immunosuppressive agent, for its ability to control active inflammation associated with uveitis. LX211 is taken in soft gelatin capsule form and has been studied in over 550 patients worldwide.
