CHICAGO (Jan. 21, 2010) – Prevent Blindness America is currently seeking sponsors for its Third Annual Swing Fore Sight Golf Tournament to be held on Oct. 6, 2010 at the Bali Hai Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev. The event, held in conjunction with Vision Expo West, offers the opportunity to enjoy a day on the links as well as a chance to support the nation’s oldest eye health and safety non-profit organization. Last year’s successful event raised close to $110,000 to support Prevent Blindness America and its sight-saving programs.
“We had so much positive feedback from our sponsors from last year’s Swing Fore Sight Golf Tournament and we have several new sponsorship levels and opportunities available for this year,” said Dave Pierson, president and CEO of Refac Optical Group and chairperson of the Swing Fore Sight planning committee. “We encourage anyone interested in sponsoring, joining our planning committee or participating in the event to contact us for more details.”
The tournament is a four-person scramble with awards being given for the low gross team, longest drive, closest to the pin, hole-in-one and more. Individual golfers may sign up for $625 or foursomes for $2,500.
