The Office of Disease Prevention & Health Promotion and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are evaluating their national objectives for promoting health and preventing disease. Healthy People 2020 objectives will be set as national goals for meeting a broad range of America’s health needs.
Every ten years, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) evaluates science and lessons learned from the past decade, along with new knowledge on data, trends and innovations.
