CHICAGO –The Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) has announced the appointment of Sandra Block, O.D., M.Ed., to Associate Dean. In her long and productive involvement with Prevent Blindness America, Dr. Block has served on the organization's Public Health and Pediatric Advisory Committees.
A tireless volunteer and friend of Prevent Blindness America, Dr. Block was instrumental in the development of Prevent Blindness America's Eye Patch Club for children with amblyopia and their families. She continues to provide her expertise in helping Prevent Blindness America achieve its program objectives and fulfill its national mission to prevent blindness and preserve sight.
