The doctors presenting the lectures were chosen by the Ohio Chapter of AAP, have many years of experience in practice and have a passion about the importance of vision assessment in the primary healthcare setting.
Dr. Peltier is a general pediatrician and has been in practice with Pediatric Associates of Mt. Carmel, located in Cincinnati, since 1999. He received his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Peltier completed his pediatric residency at Indiana University Riley Hospital for Children from 1995-1998 and was chief resident from 1998-1999. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Section of Community Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Jinks is a general pediatrician practicing with Pediatric Services in Parma, from 1990-1994 and then with Hillcrest Pediatrics in Mayfield Heights from 1994 to present. He received his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio in 1987 and completed his pediatric residency at Akron Children’s Hospital from 1987-1990. He currently serves as the Chair of Pediatrics at Hillcrest Hospital and as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University Medical School.
